disciple of Poojya Swamiji – the guiding force of
Narayanashrama Tapovanam, Kerala; the Centres for Inner
Resources Development, in India and abroad; and the Foundation
for Restoration of National Values, New Delhi.
Born in a family of academic
excellence in West Bengal, Ma’s spiritual journey began during
her student days while pursuing PhD (Physics) in Delhi

yearning for something Eternal. Ma pursued the spiritual path
while continuing with her education and after completing her
Doctorate, taught Physics in Vivekananda College, Kolkata till
1984. In 1984, Ma renounced her professional life as a
lecturer in Physics (in Kolkata University) and in 1987
renouncing the world, joined Narayanashrama Tapovanam to
dedicate herself wholesomely to the service of Poojya Swami
Bhoomananda Tirthaji in all aspects of his mission.
Ma Gurupriya is an integral
part of Narayanashrama Tapovanam, the Universal Loving Mother
