Programmes in Delhi: Poojya Swamiji accompanied by Nutan Swamiji and Ma reached CIRD at Vasundhara (UP) on 29 Oct for the 35th Annual Delhi Jnana Yajna. Guru-archana, on behalf of all devotees, was performed on 1st Nov by Smt. Chandralekha Dhir and Smt. Vinod Budhraja. Poojya Swamiji’s evening talks on “Where lies Life’s Success & Fulfillment” were held at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium (Lodhi Road) from 08 to 12 Nov. One highlight of this year’s programme was the talk given by Poojya Swamiji in Hindi on 14 & 15 Nov at CIRD lawns to nearly 250 devotees, mostly from around Vasundhara (UP). Swamiji spoke on “Grhastha-jeevan mein Bhakti aur Dhyan ki Mahatta” (The Importance of Devotion and Meditation in Household-life). A special pandal was erected for the purpose.

Poojya Swamiji was invited to address the senior executives of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on “Secret of Performantial Excellence”. Swamiji extolled the excellent work performed by them and urged them to develop a national outlook in every aspect of their profession.

Vishnu Sahasranama Sarvajanika Yajna was conducted on Nov 22. More than 250 devotees took part in the archan¡ and havan. The event was followed by bhaktibhojan for nearly 650 devotees in CIRD premises.

Poojya Swamiji along with Ma and Nutan Swamiji are scheduled to return to the Ashram on 26 Nov

This great jnanotsava (wisdom festivity), aimed at ensuring prosperity and well-being of one and all, is intended to instil socio-ethical values and messages enunciated in the Text. Eternal writings like Sreemad Bhagavatam have the sole object of revealing and inculcating everlasting human values and insights, to bring about long-term inner growth of the individual and the society alike. Hence such events, disseminating ever-relevant values, are a recurring need of the society.

Over 30 speakers, 5 each day, will expound the great Text. Besides a few English talks, Malayalam will be the main language of the sessions. There will be full parayanam (recital) of the original Text in Sanskrit, part by part every day. Thousands of devotees from different villages and cities are expected to assemble in Naimisharanyam daily to listen to the 9-day exposition. The Satram has now become an annual event fondly looked forward to by the Bhagavata lovers in the entire region. All visitors will be offered breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner.

Over 1000 devotees will participate in the Vishnu-sahasra-nama Sarvajanika Mahayajna on 03 Jan 2010, the concluding day of the satram.

      20th Mahasamadhi day of Mataji Sulabha Devi will be observed in the Ashram on 17 Dec with due sublimity.

      15th Annual Geeta Tattva Sameeksha in Thrissur will be held between 17 and 24 January 2010 at the Vadakkunathan Temple Sreemoolasthanam. Poojya Swamiji will speak (in Malayalam) on Purushottama yoga, the 15th chapter of Bhagavadgeeta.

      Sep 26: Poojya Swamiji gave a talk on devotion highlighting the story of Prahlada and Uddhava at the Sri Karthyayani Bhagavathy Temple, Panangattukar, near Wadakkanchery on the occasion of the Lalita Sahasranama Laksharchana arranged by the Temple Committee.
