      76th Jayanti of Poojya Swamiji was observed at the Ashram, CIRD Delhi, CIRD – North America, SIRD – Malaysia, BVC – Jamshedpur, Chennai and Pune on May 13th. Essence of Poojya Swamiji’s Jayanti talk.

      May 3: On the occasion of ‘rejuvenation ceremony’ (naveekarara sahasra-kalasamahotsavam after punar-uddharanam) at Sri Bhagavaty Temple, Anamangad, Thrissur, Poojya Swamiji spoke on Yogavasistha Ramayana on the specific request of the Temple Committee. The enlightening talk was well received by the audience. It generated a new thirst for further knowledge.

      May 05: Poojya Swamiji was invited to inaugurate the Sreemad Devi Bhagavata Navaha-yajnam (a nine-day programme) at Sri Bhagavaty Temple, Kodungalloorkavu, Thrissur. Swamiji’s emphasis on the necessity to have utmost care and attention in the running of the temple affairs and concern for the welfare of the society, gave both the temple’s office bearers and the local residents a new awareness and greater insight into the intricacies of Temple Science.

      May 06: Poojya Swamiji, while inaugurating the Fourth Sreemad Bhagavata Saptaha Yajnam at Sri Dharma Sastha Temple at Puzhakkal, Thrissur, exhorted the devotees to make the values and wisdom contained in Sreemad Bhagavatam the warp and woof of their daily life.

      May 08: Poojya Swamiji was invited by Brahmasvam Matham to hand over the special award, Sri Chandravedajyotis Puraskaram, to Paleli Sri Narayanan Namboodiri. During the function, Swamiji addressed the audience exhorting them to make life powerful, enlightened and fulfilled by imbibing the knowledge contained in the Vedas.

      May 10: At the monthly cultural heritage class at Vedavyasa Bhavan, Paralikad, Poojya Swamiji’s explanation on the essence of meditation was a revelation to the audience. Swamiji added that meditation is neither distant nor impossible and could be practised by all regularly.

The same evening, Swamiji gave an enlightening talk to the devotees assembled at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Murthy Temple, Puthuruthy (Thrissur) on Sanaatana Dharma and the important role played by the temples and the ashrams in sustaining the same.

      Gurupoornima & Retreat programmes: As announced earlier, Gurupoornima & Retreat will be held between July 7 and 13. Participation of those who have applied for registration will be confirmed by June 07.
